The extender kit is capable of passing 4k60 4:4:4 at 15m with cat5e. When going from Cat6a to Cat6, there is a 10% degradation on the distance limitation. This is also true when going from Cat6 to Cat5e. With this we can expect the kit to only utilise at max 80% of the 40m, which comes out to 32m. The 10% degradation on distance is true for all the HDMI extender kits when not using Cat6a.
