There are 3 types of installations. Each of our Akuvox dealers need to be setup on the Akuvox ecloud. We need to do that for them and they then get a login, Once logged in they can create 3 types of customer sites. 

Single Family SIte

Community

Commercial

Where Community is an MDU or block of apartments and Commercial is offices. 

The main paid for service is receiving video calls from the intercom via the Smartplus app on your mobile phone but that is not all there is to it. 

For Single Family Sites, you get calling to the app free for 4 users. You have a main family member and on thier app they can add and manage the other family members so they can add 3 more for free. If they want more they have to pay. You. have to buy Akuvox-Additional-User (FYI the SKU was Akuvox Additional User and I just changed it in Magento and Zoho to Akuvox-Additional-User). This buys you an additional user for 1 year. 

For Community, there is no free app calling users unless you have an Akuvox indoor answering station in the apartment. If you have an Akuvox indoor answering unit in the apartment then you get the 4 free app calling. If not you must pay. You can buy Akuvox-Cloud-Sub which gets you the 4 app calling with one main family member and 3 additional and if you want more you buy Akuvox-Additional-User. You also have the option of buying Akuvox-Lifetime-Sub which gets you the 4 for life. There is no lifetime option for additional users. 

Commercial is totally different. Most businesses have an IP PBX and calling from the intercom normally goes to an IP PBX and the calls can be routed via the IP PBX owned by the business to app calling not so important for commercial. What is important is managing your credentials for employees for access control. For that reason commercial licensing is more about access control than app calling. If you have a single door with a single relay then there is nothing to pay and you can have unlimited app users for managing their own credentials (i.e. their PIN code or learning in their face for facial recognition and also by having the app on your phone you can use bluetooth for access control provided you have a compatible intercom). If have more doors then you have to start paying. There are a load of paid for features as well as number of doors such Apple Wallet, landline calling, and of course app calling. You pay this with Credit which are SKU Akuvox-Cloud-Office-Credit. To figure out how many credit you need the installer Akuvox account has a calculator icon in the top right corner of the portal. If you open that you can set the quantities of things you want and then it tells you how many credits you need for that site per month and we would recommend that once you know what you need you buy 12 x that so you are buying at least a years worth if not more.
