In order to operate the door release on Crestron Home with the SIP Ahoy driver, you'll first need to have created virtual devices on the AV-Link Pro Server with the appropriate string for issuing the API command on the intercom. We need to do this, as Crestron Home cannot send HTTP commands natively. What we do is we create virtual devices on the AV-Link Pro Server, which are actually extensions, and then the SIP Ahoy driver allows Crestron Home to call an extension. The AV-Link Pro Server interprets that call as sending the API command to operate the relay on the intercom.
Once the Sipahoy driver is installed and connected to the Crestron Home processor, the virtual devices will be automatically imported into Crestron Home.
This video shows you how to link those virtual devices to a quick action, which results in opening the door.
