OT7 "Bricked" - Black screen - how to try and recover

If the OT7 appears "bricked" and wont accept a GUI upload, but is still discoverable in the firmware update page of Project Editor, you can try the following to recover

here is the screen we were seeing, the text reads as "file:///data/data/com.leviton.bitwise.ot7/files/BitWiseTouch/.htm"

this is generally recoverable but needs sending back to Leviton, however, before that step, unplug the OT7 so it is off, start an upload beacon of the GUI, then plug the OT7 back in while it is still broadcasting the beacon. May not work every time, but sometimes it will.
