Re-authenticating Spotify on Casatunes.

  1. Open the CasaTunesX App
  2. Navigate into the root music browsing page
  3. Next to each Spotify account listed you will see a “…” button (context menu)
  4. Select this button and you will see the option to “re-authorize” the account.  
  5. Select “Re-authorize account"



Unfortunately, for security reasons, Spotify is now planning on revoking access to the account approximately every six months.  To accommodate for this in the future we are streamlining the process so the next time you go to select music, if the music service instance needs re-authenticating, you will just need to “drill” into it and it will walk you through the re-authentication process.  In addition, we will display on a second line (under David’s Spotify above) “Tap to Sign In” to inform the user they need to select the item to sign in again (re-authenticate).
