I have a white screen on my Fox and Hound on one of the units and the menus do not appear.
If you find that you have a white screen on either the generator or the analyzer of a Fox and Hound, and none of the menus seem to do anything, then it's because the PCB for the screen is not fully connected to the main motherboard PCB.
To resolve this, remove the four rubber feet and remove the six cross-head screws in the back of the unit, and the back will come off.
The two purple sides will also easily be removed at this point.
Now you'll see that the rear PCB is attached to the front PCB via pin and socket. If you visually inspect it, you'll see it's not been fully inserted or it's come loose due to a large knock. Simply press the rear PCB onto the front PCB to ensure the connectors are fully mated. Now re-test, and you'll find your screen now works.
